Abstract

Invited to present original research at a private biopharma event, FreePint explores and comments on the challenges of authentication. As part of our Topic Series, "All About Usage," this project was just one part of how we're connecting with and serving our customers in the biopharma sector. Also find guidance on information skill development, reviews of targeted products, research on ebook acquisition and other relevant content.

We at FreePint were delighted to be an invited guest at a special event hosted by the Pharma Documentation Ring (P-D-R) in June: a one-day conference to explore the challenges of authentication and single sign-on.

The P-D-R's invitation came right around the time our director of research, Robin Neidorf, was planning a survey on authentication. We were able to pre-release the survey to P-D-R members, get their feedback on improving it, and then launch the full study (read more about it here).

That survey is part of the current Topic Series, "All About Usage: From Content Sharing to Data Mining". If you haven't yet done so, register your interest in this series, to stay informed about articles, reports, webinars, research and Communities of Practice within it.

Meanwhile, we've recently concluded the last Topic Series, "Best Practices in Information Skills Development".
