Description

This session is for information managers (buyers) who work in financial institutions.

At the request of several London-based banks, FreePint Research undertook a basic benchmarking exercise, to document which vendors and products are used, and at what level, in banks.

The results of this project have been published, and the participants are invited to join an in-person Communities of Practice session to discuss the results, including:

  • How the portfolio for core content (financials, deals, company information, news, etc.) is managed on the desktop, in the information centre and offshore
  • Perceptions of vendors and products based on development, customer relations, regional preferences and other variables
  • Expectations of shift in strategy around core content in the near future
  • Management, measurement and determination of value.

This session is also open to information managers in organisations with a Community-level subscription, in the banking and finance industry or with substantive portfolio investment in these products.

Communities of Practice are open to any organisation with a FreePint Subscription at the Community level or higher. When your registration is approved, you will receive details to attend the meeting.

If you have a question about this event, or are unsure if you have a Community level subscription, please contact us.
