Abstract
Artesian made the jump into the North American market in 2015 and a look at its UK business shows why the move has been a success. In "Product review of Artesian" Andrew Grave puts this sales intelligence tool under the spotlight and focuses on how it works, what it has to offer and why it might just be right for you.

Business intelligence (BI) is a growing sector. At the start of 2016 industry analyst Gartner predicted the worldwide BI and analytics market would reach $16.9 billion, an increase of 5.2% on the previous year.
Artesian is a UK-based company founded in 2006 which now boasts 25,000 users. It entered the North American market with its customer engagement and business intelligence tool in 2015.
The product's claim to fame is that it helps users get to know their customers quicker and to understand them better. Artesian's own description is that it helps "business leaders foster customer curious behaviour". In Jinfo's just-published "Product review of Artesian", it's easy to see why.
Reviewer Andrew Grave notes, "[Artesian] provides contextual, relevant insight into organisations and markets in real-time, helping users to get to know their customers better and giving them a competitive edge when it really matters."
Sales managers, account-based marketing teams, business development and relationship managers can set up lists of prospects in Artesian and monitor news, social media, and corporate data on those prospects for risks and opportunities.
Ammunition for meetings
Subscribers using Artesian on-the-go can benefit from checking its mobile app, called Artesian Ready. "Artesian Ready pulls through social insight from LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Companies House, AngelList, and Crunchbase," explains Andrew. All very useful stuff!
Pointing out another advantage, Andrew explains how Artesian Ready can summarise the profile information of attendees into a meeting tab which can serve as a quick reference. "It allows users to view Twitter timelines for specific customers, as well as favourites, share their posts, and forward them on to colleagues by email and SMS directly from within the application."
