Abstract
FreePint is researching corporate policies on web content as part of the Topic Series, "All About Usage". Find out more about how to take part - and how to get a copy of the findings.
Item
"Usage" defines a broad universe, so the FreePint Topic Series, "All About Usage" needs to examine a wide array of subjects. In addition to the recently completed survey on authentication, we now launch a new research effort:
FreePint Survey: Web Content Policies
It's a fact of business life today that workers use information they find on the web for business purposes.
Organisations take different views on this practice - some try to shut it down entirely; some try to manage it through training, policies and risk management; and some ignore the practice entirely and hope nothing bad happens. This survey will enable us all to gain a better understanding of the range of approaches organisations take to managing usage (or not).
Sections of the survey ask about:
- Whether policies are in place
- What the policies cover
- How well they are introduced, managed and enforced in organisations
- How information professionals inform, manage and deliver on those policies.
Complete the Survey Now
Take 10 minutes now to complete the FreePint Survey: Web Content Policies. Provide a valid email address at the end, and you will receive a copy of the published report.
The survey will be open for data collection until 4 September 2015.
