Abstract
Business research expert Perrin Kerravala gives an overview of Transactional Track Record, a deals intelligence service specialising in Spanish and Portuguese language market activity and containing historic transaction information as well as forward-looking deals and opportunities.
Item
I greatly enjoyed testing out a new deals intelligence database, Transactional Track Record (TTR).
TTR specialises in tracking mergers & acquisitions, private equity and venture capital deals, and other investment activity in Spanish and Portuguese language markets (see coverage map in Figure 1).
The product covers historic information on deals announced and completed but also a substantial amount of new business leads, such as companies for sale.

In-House Research Plus Local Content Collection
Transactional Track Record collects much of their database information through their international research and business intelligence team, located in Madrid, Lisbon, Sao Paulo, and New York.
They also track local language publications and publish information in three target languages.
Business Leads & Local News
Their extended reach enables TTR to deliver about 170 business leads every month to their clients. As such, this is a great product for firms that are already active in the product's target markets, or those who are considering entering those markets.
Because a substantial amount of information is collected locally, users may see a higher volume of news on TTR than on mainstream western sources.
Ideal for iPad & Other Platforms
TTR also boasts a sleek, award-winning interface (2013 CODiE for Best Financial/Market Data Information Solution) that operates well on multiple platforms - including tablets like iPad.
I was particularly impressed with how well TTR's intuitive functionality performed on all the different browsers and devices I tried.
