Lesley Thomson

Lesley Thomson is Knowledge Manager with the Scottish Government"s Centre for Housing Market Analysis. She"s been a civil servant longer than she"s been a librarian, which is fairly unusual. She"s done all sorts in her 15 years with the civil service - from data input in, what was then, the Scottish Office Agriculture and Fisheries Department, full circle back to the Scottish Government doing librarianship "proper", information literacy and knowledge management - by way of front line service, IT management, information security, learning and development and web management ... and several government departments. Her current obsession is digital engagement and she"s helping develop a digital engagement strategy for the Scottish Government.
