Jinfo model of information expertise
Jinfo Report
27th October 2016
Abstract
Jinfo's "Model of information expertise" provides a plain-language explanation of what information professionals do and the value they provide to a business. It can be used to communicate with stakeholders and partners, as well as with people new to the profession.
This model provides a practical explanation of each leg of the "three-legged stool": sources, technology and value, presented in language that stakeholders relate to.
This document accompanies the blog "Jinfo feedback - information expertise".
