Description

Teleconference, for information managers (buyers), aimed especially at those who work in organisations that deal in tangible goods: manufacturing, agriculture, tangible technology.

Over time, FreePint Research has noticed an important difference between organisations that deal in tangible goods, compared with those that deal in intangibles (consulting, services, law, etc.). The kinds of questions that get asked about information strategy are the same, but what constitutes a "good answer" is very different.

Often, the senior leadership in tangible goods organisations have a background in engineering, product development, and the influences of the physical world. This seems to mean that the key stakeholders for information managers in these organisations may have strong views on the value of intangible resources like information.

This special Communities of Practice session provides a unique forum for information managers in these organisations to discuss these characteristics of their stakeholders, and how they may influence your budget, reporting, development strategies and communications.

Although intended primarily for information managers who work in organisations that deal in tangible goods, you are welcome to join if you feel that your senior leadership share this suspicion about the value of intangible resources.

Communities of Practice are open to any organisation with a FreePint Subscription at the Community level or higher. When your registration is approved, you will receive details to attend the session.

If you have a question about this event, or are unsure if you have a Community level subscription, please contact us.
