Abstract
Information teams have valuable expertise to contribute to data analytics projects within organisations but to be recognised they need to be able to measure and demonstrate those skills. In this article, Andrew Lucas looks at the types of data that all information professionals should be able to work with and how to map their skills to organisational need using Jinfo's model and ensure that other stakeholders are aware of what the information centre can contribute.
