Abstract
Information centre managers are frequently presented with news of mergers and acquisitions amongst the information vendors they rely on for mission-critical information resources. This news often causes concern about contract renewals and price increases. A recent Jinfo Community session explored this topic and provided some interesting insights into market forces impacting the landscape of information providers. Robin Neidorf, Jinfo's director of research, moderated a discussion that revealed common questions and concerns amongst the participants.
