Abstract
Text and data mining (TDM) is becoming essential in many industries but licensing and securing the rights to use content in this way remains a challenge - at least with some publishers. FreePint's director of research, Robin Neidorf highlights some platforms which help publishers and researchers who want to apply TDM to their content. She explains what you need to take into account if planning a commercial data mining project - and where there are likely to be sticking points.
