Abstract
Since Microsoft purchased Yammer in 2012 we've heard a lot about how Yammer is going to make SharePoint more social and provide organisations with a quick and easy way to encourage enterprise-wide social networking. James Mullan discusses the benefits Yammer and enterprise social networks can bring to organisations but also the significant problem with Yammer and other enterprise social networks - that individuals just won't use them.
