Jinfo Article

Abstract

It has been a busy year for LinkedIn, as reported recently, LinkedIn acquired Newsle to bolster its news and subscription services and LinkedIn has rolled out a number of significant changes to the site. These include, but aren't limited to: status updates being relocated to the LinkedIn homepage, a new way to manage contacts, showcase pages for companies, LinkedIn Pulse news and mobile and - perhaps most significantly - a new publishing platform which allows LinkedIn members to publish blog posts to their profile. Now LinkedIn has quietly rolled out a new "follow" feature, which is likely to have a significant impact on the way we all use LinkedIn.
