Abstract
Intranets have come a long way since the early days of static text-heavy internal websites for collaboration and communication. Now they offer unique functionality that often eclipses what is available on the website of the same company. Whilst social intranets are becoming the norm, we're yet to see an enterprise social network such as Yammer become an intranet... until now.
