Risk and compliance management products can help information specialists to get the data needed to make the right decisions. In "Q&A with LexisNexis Risk Solutions - detecting & managing relationship risk", Jinfo contributing editor Chris Porter speaks with Steve Arnison, director at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, to find out about the latest product offerings and what's driving growth.
LexisNexis Risk Solutions, part of the RELX Group plc, expanded its business and products with acquisitions that have helped deliver a wider range of risk and compliance tools including WorldCompliance Data solution, LexisNexis Bridger Insight and LexisNexis TraceIQ. A separate "Market landscape - LexisNexis Risk Solutions risk & compliance products" gives an overview of the company's key products, including typical users and risk area covered.
At the centre of LexisNexis Risk Solutions is the company's mission "to help customers to detect and manage relationship risk". Chris finds the company has more than 400 researchers who work on LexisNexis WorldCompliance Data capabilities. Steve tells him "those researchers are compiling about 2.5 million profiles, along with around 50 risk categories, including individual sanctions, PEPs and state-owned organisations, among other things".
There's a lot more to find out in Chris's "Q&A with LexisNexis Risk Solutions - detecting & managing relationship risk". Top of my list would be to see what the trends are in how risk and compliance services are being bought and used. Steve shares his thoughts on this but also hones in on the impact of the recent acquisition of Tracesmart which has brought with it UK-specific public records and other data assets.
Dun and Bradstreet
In "Market landscape - Dun & Bradstreet risk & compliance products" Jinfo's Sophie Alexander takes a look at four of the company's key products - D&B Compliance, D&B FATCA and CRS Classifier, D&B Onboard, and DNBi Risk Management Solutions.
How do these products differ? Sophie's report will leave you in little doubt since it provides you with an overview including brief descriptions and snapshots of who typical users are, the geographic scope of the products, key features, value and the risk area covered by each product. D&B Onboard, for example, is "used by more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies as well as the United States government".
