Abstract
How can vendors tap into FreePint's expertise and insights? FreePint's director of research, Robin Neidorf, explains.
Item
At FreePint our research and editorial plans are primarily driven by what buy-side customers tell us they want and need. This focus on customers, however, also makes our expertise, outputs and insights extremely valuable for vendors and suppliers of information products and services.
Custom Briefings
We're currently completing the 2015 iteration of research on the UK market for legal information, and one of the key vendors in that market has arranged for:
- Custom briefings on the results to support their strategic planning around product development, marketing and communications
- Reuse licensing of the results, to share more broadly with their customers and prospects.
Targeted Development Sessions
Another vendor turned to FreePint for help in preparing and delivering in-person roundtable sessions for customers and prospects in selected US cities. We're leveraging our current Survey on Private Company Information (open until 23rd October) to prepare targeted professional development sessions on approaches to, complications of and misconceptions about private company data.
Community of Practice Events
Even without custom work, vendors get the benefit of our research and resources:
Those with a Community-level FreePint Subscription can take part in our upcoming Community of Practice sessions open to both buyers and sellers of information products and services:
- Understanding Usage: Buyers and Sellers Seeking Alignment: New York (20th October), London (4th November)
