This month, infoGROUP subsidiary OneSource, which you all may know well, announced that it is the first business information company which seemlessly integrates with Salesforce CRM, the on-demand customer relationship management solution by Salesforce.com. OneSource for Salesforce, as the product is named, provides sales agents a combination of company data, quick mash-ups of information right in salesforce.com views, and the ability to import data on multiple companies and contacts at a time. According to OneSource this integration was possible only due to its deep technology and product experience it could build from its longstanding business relation to Salesforce.com. Back in 2006 OneSource claimed to be the first business information provider to integrate with Salesforce.com's offering. Sales agents using OneSource for Salesforce are provided with key company data such as sales, number of employees, contact details as well as general industry information. A deep drill functionality would display more information on executive bios, financial data or even SWOT analyses. According to OneSource the product would also provide critical benefits to non-sales employees such as management, accounting or IT. Data that is provided by OneSource for Salesforce includes: - 17 million public and private companies - 24 million corporate and 290,000 government contacts - 40,000 US government agencies with 150,000 email addresses - 2 million US corporate email addresses Source: Salesforce.com - http://digbig.com/5bamtb OneSource for Salesforce datasheet - http://digbig.com/5bamtkAbout this article
