Lorene Kennard is the owner of Walnut Avenue Research, an independent research and consulting firm based outside Chicago, Illinois. She has more than 20 years of experience in insurance, financial services, research and information. Lorene is the 2012 Past President of the Illinois Chapter of the Special Libraries Association. She is also active in the Association of Independent Information Professionals and the Society for American Baseball Research. She takes a lot of road trips and is always on the lookout for a library or research centre that might have great resources she could use one day. She tweets from @walnutresearch about small business issues, libraries, books, sports and travel.

You know that the big three do not cover everything, but when you are on a tight deadline, you hope that a search in one of these databases will quickly and easily produce your desired results.
