Virginia has been a knowledge manager for around 14 years, both as a consultant and in staff roles with a number of private and public sector organisations. She specialises in collaboration and communication, working with teams from a range of disciplines to implement knowledge management cultures and the supporting technologies.

Virginia is also a founder of LIKE (the London Information and Knowledge Exchange). LIKE"s network of almost 1,400 members includes professionals from all sectors and each of the knowledge, information and communication disciplines.
